Review – Turtles All the Way Down by Gordon Atkinson (aka Real Live Preacher)
I am so excited about having this new book by Gordon in my library. Mostly because I love the way the man writes and the way he tackles spirituality and questions of God. But there’s another reason I’m excited to have this book: as someone who pledged to buy the book when it came to fruition, I became part of the “publishing team” and that meant I got to hear all the exciting news about the book every step of the way. It also meant that I got the option of participating in some of the editorial choices, which for the record, I didn’t. I was just thrilled that my being willing to buy a book meant something. Also as part of the “publishing team” we were solicited for blurbs and Gordon choose one of mine! I have a blurb in a published book available to people in the general public! How sweet is that? No, I am not going to tell you what my blurb said because I’m mean and evil that way. I want you to go buy your own copy and see my blurb and discover the joy of Preacher’s writing for yourself.
